If your iOS device is connected with a cable to a Mac computer or Apple TV, you can share your iOS device’s screen on Zoom. If your iOS device is not connected to a Mac computer or Apple TV, you can share your screen via AirPlay.
Prerequisites of iPad/iPhone Screen Via Cable on Zoom
- Make sure your Zoom desktop client for Mac version 4.0.36452.0616 or later running on Mac OS 10.10 or later;
- And your iPad with iOS version 8 or later; (You can download the latest version of Zoom for Mac from: https://zoom.us/download)
You can start a video chat and share your iPad or iPhone screen on Zoom via cable by following the steps below:
Step 1: Join or start a meeting on zoom.us.
Step2: Click the “Screen-sharing” button on your toolbar.
Step 3: Select the “iPhone/iPad via Cable” option and click the “Share Screen” button.
Step 4: Connect your iPad or iPhone to your Mac computer with a cable.
Step 5: The “Share Screen” window will open. You can now share your iPad or iPhone screen on Zoom.
Note: If your device is not already connected, it will show a message with instructions to connect your device. When you connect your device, your screen will be shared in the meeting.
